Starting off with just a single truck, he laid the foundations for today's organisation. Friday, June 16, 2023 One of the 12 Van den Bosch branches is expanding: Container terminal Europoort Rotterdam. Approximately 1200 m2 will be added to the existing building, and this existing building will also be renovated.
Construction officially started last week. Rico Daandels drove the first pile into the ground.
The container depot opened in 2003. In that year jumbotainers was taken over. The first expansion took place in 2015.
It will be a sustainable new building in which use will be made of underground water tanks in which rainwater will be collected, this rainwater will then be used to clean the containers. In addition, the entire available roof area will be used to install solar panels.
Delivery is expected to take place in March 2024.

Friday, April 28, 2023 Last year, the 01025 was the last SiloTank truck (that still drove around in the original house style of the company) that came to Erp to be sold ( see '01001 and up' ). This Volvo FH drove on an Austrian registration, but it was not the first Silo Tank truck with that Van den Bosch-fleetnumber.
The first 01025 was a Renault Premium 320 that drove on Hungarian license plates, and therefore had the branch in Hungary as its home base .
In addition, in this update a look into the past with the 0257, the 0943 and the 01004, and a look at the current fleet with the 0236, the 0290, the 0427 and last but not least trailer 805 ....
Monday, April 24, 2023 Logistics service provider Van den Bosch has once again received the World-class Workplace quality label in the Global category. This independent quality label is awarded annually by research bureau Effectory for good employership. At the beginning of this year, Effectory conducted a survey among the employees of all the Van den Bosch branches. The logistics service provider scores above average compared with other internationally active organisations surveyed.

Friday, March 17, 2023 The Supreme Court today issued a judgment in the lawsuit brought by ten Hungarian drivers against their former employer, Silo Tank Kft.
The judgment of the Supreme Court concerns whether Hungarian drivers should have received Dutch wages for the international transport activities they carried out on behalf of Silo Tank (now Van den Bosch Transport Kft.) in the period 2007-2012.

Friday, March 10, 2023 Logistics service provider Van den Bosch will open the doors of the technical service in Erp on Saturday 18 March. During this Job Event, anyone interested in a technical challenge can take a look around the workshop without obligation.
Curious about the day-to-day work of Van den Bosch's mechanics and technical specialists? Visit us on 18 March and they will give you a good look around and be ready to answer all your questions. The technical service is the beating heart of Van den Bosch. In the workshop, the team carries out maintenance & repairs to trucks, containers, trailers and the associated equipment, so that all our drivers can safely head out on the road.
The Job Event will take place on Saturday 18 March, from 9 am - 1 pm. Address: Hoogven 12 in Erp. Registration is not necessary.
